Denise's Story
Life
Well, WOW so much is going on. I was let go frm my Government Affairs position, and now working toward my career in business. I work for a non-profit organization that helps teen mothers who are homeless or on the break of being homeless (we teach them to better care for their children and themselves). Very rewarding. I'm also a Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay, and a Bridal Consultant for Daivd's Bridal.
Big Wedding coming up in July. July 24th 2005 is the big day and everything is on its way. My baby and I are very excited and plan to have children early so that they will be old enough as we hit our peak in minitry as we travel around the world. I plan to take my second trip to South Africa very soon with my huband by my side.
I love you all, keep in touch lets not be strangers.
Ps. Jesus Loves you all and has paid a great price for us all, let remember that and knowledge his greatness, those who have known me for years see how real he is. I'm not the same person I was before and I have God to thank.. Be blessed Yeah..

ontinue to work with the agency I am currently working with. Not easy living on your own, but its worth it. I have a beatiful place. if I had a pic i would show it. but it cost me 800 dollars a month to keep it. Thats ok because I serve a God that provides.. Amen? Amen! ;-)
Workplace
Work, Work , Work. I moved back to Chicago August 3, 1999. I missed it so much. I started working for Catholic Charities September of 99. I was working for the Department of Children and Family Services. In other words when a child or youth was neglected or abused by parent(s) their case would come to me. My department finds better placement for them whether Foster Care, Shelter, Group Home etc. In MAy of 2003 I was offered a position in the same agency but working for Government Affairs. We write proposals for grants for the programs we have at our agency. Also I do a lot work with legislators, US Senators, US COngressmen, State Senators, State Representatives, and mostly with Chicago Aldermen. Also work with Copies of Bills currently under consideration in the Illinois General Assembly. Woooo. Well, in all it has been a blessing since i moved back to Chicago. Didnt know what God had in store, but Im young and learning all I can.
